SRINAGAR, Oct 23: Jammu and Kashmir Co-ordination Committee of Trade Unions (JKCCTU) today protested against new Pension Bill adopted by the Indian Parliament recently and demanded the Government should not implement the “draconian” Bill in the State.
The protesters shouted anti-bill slogans and termed it against the welfare of employees. “The Central as well as State Government is hell bent upon to snatch the hard earned right of employees to pension,” said Mohammad Maqbool, President JKCCTU.
While addressing the irate employees at Press Enclave, Maqbool said the JKCCTU members will fight against the Pension Bill all across India in November.
