JAMMU, Dec 5: A meeting of Smt. Nirmal Mahajan Charitable Trust was held here today where Nirmal Mahajan was elected as the Trust president.
Vijay Bakshi was elected as vice president; Puran Chand Sharma, general secretary; Kewal Krishan Mahajan, treasurer; O.P Gupta, financial advisor and Harsh Wardan, legal advisor.
The Trust decided to give scholarship to 30 handicapped orphans and meritorious students of different schools at the rate of Rs. 600 per student.
It was also decided to donate Rs. 8500 to Swami Vivekanand Medicare Mission Hospital Amphalla for one eye operation.
The Trust decided to donate 10 blankets to Mata Rudar Ganga Trust Jammu and to donate one quintal of rice to the needy people.
