JAMMU, Nov 10: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association called on Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Agriculture production Department Atal Dulloo and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
Delegation was led by Dr Surinder Radotra, president JKATA, who also discussed in detail the core issues of the agriculture fraternity & the issues related to realisation of PM vision in doubling the income of marginal farmers of the UT of J&K.
JKATA delegation demanded immediate DPC of incharge JAEOs with retrospective effect from Ist April 2017 for both Divisions of Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation further asked for Fixation of inter -se – seniority list at UT level for purposes of promoting JAEOs to AEOs as per qualification & merit. JKATA also sought in situ time bound promotions for the cadre and framing of Transfer policy of AEAs.
JKATA also reiterated its old demand of inclusion of rendering service of AEAs with effect from 01.04.2007 with benefits of old pension scheme.
Dulloo gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured positive action over the demands.
