People want BJP to form first Govt in UT of J&K : Yudhvir

JAMMU, Nov 1: Yudhvir Sethi, vice president, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir has asserted that people of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have overwhelmingly extended their support to Bharatiya Janata Party and want that the first elected Government in J&K UT should be that of BJP.
He expressed this while addressing meeting of Shakti Kendra Pramukhs and booth presidents of Sidhra and Ragoora area on the outskirts of Jammu city today.
The senior BJP leader, while chairing the meeting, said that it is the result of people’s undaunted faith and confidence in Bharatiya Janata Party besides the performance of the incumbent BJP Government at the Centre led by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi that as of today the party has a very strong base across the Union Territory. He complemented the Shakti Kendra Pramukhs and booth presidents of Sidhra and Ragoora for constantly activating the party workers and activists in their concerned areas who worked relentlessly at the grass roots level for the people further strengthening the party in the area.
Sethi expressed satisfaction and pleasure over the working of the party workers and activists whose efforts have paid the dividends. He said that they are the foot soldiers of the party and it is because of them that today Ragoora and Sidhra have become BJP strongholds.
Yudhvir Sethi said that the people of the area are much happy and satisfied with the policies and programmes of BJP that have been transforming the nooks and corners of Jammu and Kashmir taking it ahead towards the realization of the PM’s dream of ‘Naya Jammu Kashmir’.
The senior BJP leader asked the Shakti Kendra Pramukh and Booth presidents of the area to continue serving the people in Ragoora and Sidhra areas and making them aware about the achievements of Modi led Government at the Centre at the national and International level and especially the landmarks achieved by it in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
