DODA, Aug 9: Bhalla Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen items from his possession.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Bhalla by Vikram Anand HR R&C Infra Engineers Private Limited regarding theft of road construction materials by some unknown persons which was dumped as well as installed at various work sites on Ghadsoo-Sui Gawari Road by the company.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 131/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Bhalla led by ASI Abdul Shakoor after getting some clues and leads apprehended the thief, who was identified as Muzamil Khan, son of Mushtaq Saleem Khan of Shiva District Doda.
On his disclosure, the stolen property was recovered and seized. A Mahindra pickup bearing registration number JK06B-1687 involved in lifting the stolen property has also been seized.
Further investigation into the matter is going on.
