JAMMU, Aug 8: The dead body of a woman was found hanging in an Army quarter in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
“The deceased was identified as Shanti Devi (32) wife of Devinder Kumar, resident of Uttrakhand,” police sources said. They said the body of the woman was found hanging last night in Army family quarter number 79-H at Kote Jagir (Nagrota) where she was living with her husband.
The dead body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while Nagrota Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
