Time for suggestions to CSC extended

JAMMU, Sept 15: The Government today extended the timing for submission of suggestions/demands for creation of new administrative units as invited by the Cabinet Sub Committee (CSC) headed by Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand.
A Government order said the CSC headed by Tara Chand in its meeting on July 31, 2013 had sought suggestions/demands from the public across the State for creation of new administrative units for consideration within a period of 15 days.
“Representations have been received from the people for extension in the time limit for filing suggestions/demands for creation of new units. The matter has accordingly been examined and it has been decided to extend date of filing suggestions by the public by another 15 days from the issuance of the notice i.e. 13.9.2013,” the order said.
The suggestions/demands can be given to Additional Secretary in the Personal Section of Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, Room No. 115, Ist Floor, Civil Secretariat, Srinagar.
The members of the CSC headed by Tara Chand included Mohammad Akbar Lone, Ajay Sadhotra and Saifullah Mir, all from NC, Sham Sharma and Rigjin Jora, both from Congress and Ghulam Hassan Mir (DPN).
