16 bovines rescued by Bishnah police

JAMMU, Sept 10: Bishnah police today rescued 16 bovine animals, while the smuggler managed to fled from the spot.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Narinder Singh laid a naka near Mehmoodpur and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AJ-4071.
During checking, police recovered 16 bovine animals, he said, adding that the driver of the vehicle managed to fled from the spot.
A case under Section 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and manhunt has been launched to arrest the absconding driver.
