JAMMU, Sept 6: A meeting of the officers of Economics and Statistics Service (Gazetted) was held at Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Bemina which was presided over by Director General BR Lachotra.
While speaking, Lachotra highlighted various problems being faced by the cadre and assured that all efforts will be made to get their problems addressed by the Government.
During the meeting, an adhoc body was constituted and Parvez Sajjad Kakroo has been nominated as its president. The committee will meet on regular intervals to formalize the association and to take stock of the redressal of the problems of his cadre.
