RAMBAN, May 21: Ten persons were injured in vehicles collision at Pernote here today.
As per police sources, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK17-0743 collided with old tanker bearing registration number JK02CR-2825 at Pernote on Gool-Sangaldan road, resulting into injuries to 10 persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. All the injured persons were rescued and shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.
The injured were identified as Kulsum Bano of Gool, Abdul Majid of Nepal, Reshma Begum of Gool, Ghulam Rasool of District Anantnag, Fayaz Ahmed of Deda Gool, Maqsood Ahmed (Sumo driver), Mohd Isaque of Gool, Imtiyaz Ahmed of Bankite Banihal, Mushtaq Ahmed of District Reasi and Ayain of Gool.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Ramsu and investigation started.
