JAMMU, Apr 28: President J&K Pradesh Youth Congress, Uday Bhanu Chib along with JMC Councillor, Rajni Bala here today started blacktopping work of Mohalla Masjid lane in Ward number 60.
On this occasion, Uday Chib interacted with residents of the area and listened their problems wherein the residents raised issues due to poor lanes and drains, sanitation, erratic power and drinking water supply in the area.
They said that unscheduled long power cuts and shortage of drinking water supply has put the normal life out of gear.
Chib assured the residents that all their issues will be duly settled after taking up the same with concerned authorities in the administration.
Addressing the gathering, Rajni Bala said that people are suffering on account of wrong policies of BJP government which is resorting to blatant discrimination in executing development works in the area.
“I shall see that all the works including that of lanes, drains and roads in the area get completed in a phased manner,” she maintained adding that special care will be taken in the execution of different works including the present one so that the quality can be maintained and the people don’t have to suffer any more in future.
