KATHUA, Apr 21:A driver of Mahindra pickup van was killed after his vehicle bearing Registration Number JK0L0216 turned turtle and fell down in a deep gorge near a nursery in Bani area. He was identified as Shadi Lal, 41, son of Churo Ram of Assu Bani.
He was on way from Assu to Bani when the accident took place late last night. The people saw the dead body and vehicle in the morning and they informed the Police. Police brought the dead body from accident site and took it to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bani for postmortem.
After conducting the postmortem and completing all legal formalities it handed over the body to the family for cremation. The Bani police has registered a case under section 371/304 in this regard.
