SAMBA, Apr 12: Samba police arrested a lady, resident of Bri-Kamila, Purmandal for beating her child mercilessly.
Police said yesterday a written report was lodged at Police Post (PP) Utterbehani by Sarpanch, Panchayat Dagore against the lady from village Bri-Kamila after her video went viral on social media for mercilessly beating her child. Acting on the complaint, a case FIR No.10/2022 U/S 308/323 IPC & 75 Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) was registered at Police Station Purmandal. A police team of Police Post Utterbehani arrested the lady namely Preeti Sharma wife of Mann Singh of Bri-Kamila, tehsil Vijaypur, Samba in the instant case.
Further investigation is going on.
