JAMMU, Apr 6: Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura (Mishriwala) today organized an awareness program on plastic waste in Jhiri area.
A total of 52 NCC cadets including boys and girls along with two Associate NCC officers and PI staff participated in the program, which was organized under the patronage of Prof Ramneek Kaur, Principal of the College.
During the program, the NCC cadets spread awareness among the local public regarding hazards of plastic waste. They also collected plastic waste from nearby holy water body namely ‘Bawa Ka Talab’.
Professor Kusha Sharma (ANO, Girls wing of 2 J&K girls Battalion) and Professor Vijay Kumar Rukwal (ANO Boys wing) supervised the whole activity.
