JAMMU, Apr 6: National Conference (NC) has done a lot in empowering people politically by providing them a vibrant platform and ensured their participation in decision making at all the levels.
This was stated by Rattan Lal Gupta, provincial NC president for Jammu Province at a function in which many workers joined NC and were welcomed into the Party by Gupta.
The NC leader said that joining of dedicated activists will strengthen the Party and help in reaching out to maximum people for mitigating their problems.
He claimed that NC is natural choice for all those believing in secular ethos of J&K.
Gupta urged upon the new entrants to be a part of socio-economic transformation of all the regions and sub-regions.
Those who joined NC were Sushil Pandit, Rohit, Sumir, Padhu, Vindo Kapoor, Rajinder Singh, Rajinder Sharma, Sukwinder Lal, Bittu and others.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, provincial NC secretary; Babu Ram Paul, president central zone; Deepinder Kour, Ex-MLC; Vijay Lochan, provincial president SC Cell; Abdul Gani Teli, provincial president OBC Cell; Rita Gupta, Sangeet Sharma, joint secretary district Jammu Rural A; Rakesh Singh, S. Nirmal Singh, Sandesh Shan and others.
