Minority Deptt of JKPCC holds meet, discusses issues

JAMMU, Apr 5: A meeting of the Minority Department of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) of Jammu District was held here today by its Chairman Baldev Singh under the guidance of Michael Wazir State coordinator to discuss various public issues.
Speaking on the occasion, Michael Wazir reinstated their demand of appointment of “Centre Minority Commission Coordinator” in JK UT for the holistic development of minority communities in Jammu and Kashmir. He also appealed to people of minority communities in JK UT to come forward and join the Congress party which fights for the rights of the minorities.
Baldev Singh Wazir demanded inclusion of Punjab language as official languages in Jammu and Kashmir. He also demanded the installation of Bandha Singh Badhur’s statue at Kunjwani Chowk.
The meeting was attended by Jagjit Singh Rimple, Nassir Masih, Gurmeet Singh, Devinder Singh, Jatinder Singh, Balvinder Singh and many others.
