UDHAMPUR, Jan 13: Locals of Ward-21 in Nagrota demanding stopping of the flow of drainage water into the water body near Radha Soami Satsang Ghar, here today.
It was raised by Advocate Sanjeet Bavouria, chairman Jan Sangharsh Sanstha and locals during a press conference at Nagrota wherein Adv Sanjeet said that the PWD had constructed drains, which were blocked and choked resulting, the sewerage water damaging the lane as well as polluting the water body.
They alleged that the overflowing water from the drains is becoming the life of locals hell and the department concerned seems least bothered about it.
They also alleged that the public of the said areas is also suffering due to non- availability of the proper water supply.
Ishtiaq Hussain, Man Chand, Talib Hussain, Mohan Lal, Mohammad Gulzar, Baldev Bhardwaj and Prabhakar Sharma were present during the press briefing.
