Srinagar, Jan 12: Commissioner SMC Athar Amir Khan today visited Parimpora Bus Stand, Transport Nagar and passed on the spot directions for immediate dewatering.
He directed the S.E drainage to depute mobile pumps for dewatering, while as the SDA on the occasion informed that Parimpora Bus stand Project which is of Rs 9 crores, includes Drainage, Macdamisation, Road works, Central verge and Green Patches and stands approved under SMRDA.
He was also told that the technical vetting of the project along with the administrative approval is already in place even as the project is under process for technical sanction.
On the occasion, Athar was accompanied by VC SDA Bashir Ahmed along with Joint Commissioner Adm Syed Abul Qasim, S.E Drainage, S.E R&B, Joint Commissioner Works, Exn City Works, Exn Water Works, Exn Right River works, Exn Left River works, Chief Enforcement Officer, Chief Sanitation Officer, Ward officer and other officials.
Similarly, he was told that the project of Transport Nagar has also been approved under SMRDA along with the completion of technical vetting. He was told that after the rest of the formalities are done, the work will also be put to tenders.
Commissioner on the occasion interacted with the dwellers of the place and assured them that all their problems at the site will be resolved in time.
