KATHUA, Jan 12: A courier boy was crushed to death by a speedy Gas Tanker at Palli Morh on Jammu- Pathankot National Highway, near here, today.
The deceased was identified as Rajesh, son of Muktyar residents of Dhanore, Kathua. The accident took place when a Gas Tanker bearing Registration No JK02DX 8928 hit the motorcycle of the Courier boy.
He died on the spot and his body was lying in pool of blood on Highway. A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Mortuary for postmartem. The police has also started investigation into the matter and seized the tanker.
