Y V Sharma flays Kashmiri politicians for provocative statements

JAMMU, Jan 2: J&K BJP spokesperson Y V Sharma of Jammu and Kashmir has taken strong exception to statements made by some Kashmir-based politicians after the recent real estate summit held in Jammu. Sharma termed these statements as irresponsible, unfounded, highly communal, provocative and anti development.
Reacting very strongly against these statements, Sharma remarked that these leaders had ruled the state for a long time and were even a part of the Union Government at one time. He said the LG Government has been successful in bringing about a sea change in the tone and tenor of governance with the full support and co-operation of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Leaders of different hues can see it quite clearly that the mass support for them is rapidly declining and their hold is slipping away. That is why they are indulging in vain attempts to divide people in the name of religion, region, special status, local identity and what not,” he added.
Sharma took due note of the misleading statements of such leaders who alleged that the Government is trying to ‘Hinduise’ the valley, it is trying to change the demography and the geographical boundaries, it has put the erstwhile state of J&K for sale and loot, it will give the land of the erstwhile state in the hands of the outsiders first in Jammu and then in the valley and so on.
He remarked that all false allegations are diabolical creation and a figment of imagination. It was a product of the feverish mentality of these frustrated politicians who want to perpetuate their political hegemony by creating a rift in the minds of the people. “These politicians want that no Indians from other parts of the country can have rights of buying land, getting employment, setting business or industry in J&K. Yet, people from J&K should have all these rights in an unhindered manner all over the country. How is their argument fair is beyond comprehension?,” Sharma remarked.
