Drug peddler arrested with heroin, sharp edged weapon

SAMBA, Dec 27: Bari Brahmana Police arrested a drug peddler along with heroin and sharp edged weapon.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Bari Brahmana led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Sharma intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 35 grams heroin and one sharp edged weapon from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Rohit Kumar, son of Bodh Raj of Kotli Rian Tehsil RS Pura, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 297/2021 under Sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act and 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation set into motion.
The whole operation was carried out under the close supervision of SSP Samba Dr Abhishek Mahajan.
