JAMMU, Dec 27: People held protest against bovines smuggling in Jogwan area of Khour here.
As per police sources, a large number of people held protest against police for not keeping check over bovines smuggling.
“Bovine animals are being transported illegally, but instead of taking action, police facilitate their transportation”, the locals alleged.
They demanded strict action against the persons indulged in illegal transportation of bovine animals.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against unidentified persons for violating SOPs issued in wake of COVID pandemic at Police Station Khour.
