JAMMU, Dec 27: Nagrota Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02CM-8876.
During checking, police team rescued 4 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Ashiq Ali, son of Mohammad Ashrif of Vijaypur District Reasi.
A case under FIR Number 470/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
