UDHAMPUR, Dec 25: A 15-year old girl committed suicide by hanging herself from ceiling fan hook at her house in village Satani, Dhar road Udhampur.
According to the police report, Priti Sharma (15), daughter of Mulk Raj Sharma, resident of village Satani near Dhar Road Udhampur, was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook in her house under mysterious circumstances.
Family member brought the matter into the notice of Police that rushed to the spot and took the dead body in their custody. Later the body was shifted to the District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while a case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
