SRINAGAR, Dec 24: The Government today ordered the constitution of the Selection Committee for the post of Director SKIMS, Soura.
The move has come after the H&ME announced 15 shortlisted candidates for the post after the applications were invited from the eligible candidates in September this year.
As per the order issued here by the GAD, sanction has been accorded the constitution of the Selection Committee in this regard, which comprises Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary, who will be the Chairman of the Selection Committee.
The Committee also includes Dr Randeep Guleria, Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Dr Surjit Singh, Director, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, Prof. M. C. Mishra, Former Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Vivek Bhardwaj, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary, (Health & Medical Education Department).
“The Selection Committee shall prepare a panel of three candidates in order of merit as per the criteria laid down in Government,” the GAD order stated.
