KATHUA, Dec 17: Lakhanpur Police foiled bovine smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Lakhanpur led by SHO Inspector Surinder Pal Singh under the supervision of SSP Kathua RC Kotwal intercepted a Mahindra Bolero bearing registration number PB06AS-4629.
During checking, police team rescued 5 bovine animals and seized the vehicle.
A case under FIR Number 112/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Lakhanpur and hunt has been launched to nab the driver, who managed to escape from the spot.
