JAMMU, Dec 17: Janipur and Pacca Danga Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin and intoxicant capsules from their possessions.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Ajaz Haider laid a naka at Patoli Morh and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AR-7829.
During checking, police team recovered 7 grams heroin from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Bobby, son of Raj Kumar, a resident of Top Sherkhania District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 129/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
Meanwhile, during routine checking a team from Police Station Pacca Danga apprehended a drug peddler along with 237 intoxicant capsules.
The apprehended person was identified as Gourav, son of Puran Chand, a resident of Chinore, District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 214/2021 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
