UDHAMPUR, Dec 17: A young man committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Chenani.
A police spokesman said that Rakesh Kumar (27), son of Parma Nanad, resident of village Satyalta in Chenani, consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. The family members noticed him in serious condition and vomiting and rushed him to Sub District Hospital Chenani where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu Hospital in serious condition after giving him preliminary treatment. He died today. Later, the body was sent for postmortem.
The police after completion of all the formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to family members.
