RAJOURI, Dec 14: A worker of a local petrol pump, near Panja Chowk in Rajouri town was beaten up by some goons late this evening.
A police official said that two youth came to the petrol pump and asked worker Sarvesh Kumar hailing from UP to provide petrol on credit. The employee refused to fill fuel tank of their vehicle, telling that he had no such instructions from the Pump owner. Giving threat to the worker, these youth with their associates again came with lathis and severely beaten up the worker. They also caused some damage to the pump and then escaped.
The injured worker was rushed to hospital with multiple fractures and deep head injury. The police registered a case and started manhunt for the youth, who said to have been identified.
