JAMMU, Dec 14: Vice President Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Rajesh Gupta has said that recent move of J&K government providing 3 per cent reservation to people of Rajouri and Poonch should also include PoK Displaced Persons.
Gupta was addressing PoK refugees here today and he urged upon PM Modi led government to grant Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to the all Pahari Speaking People of J&K.
He said that the government should have taken all the Pahari Speaking People of J&K into consideration before granting reservation according to their cultural, linguistic and geographical identities and he questioned the logic behind providing reservation to handful people of Poonch and Rajouri under Pahari Speaking category.
