KATRA, Dec 14: At least four shops were gutted in a major fire that broke out in main bazar of Katra town in the wee hours today.
Officials said that the fire broke out in one of the shops in the wee hours today and soon engulfed adjoining shops in the market. Even as fire tenders and police reached the spot to douse the flames, at least four shops were gutted in the fire.

Shop of Badri Nath, son of Sant Ram (toys shop) was fully gutted while R K Medical Hall, Bharti General Store and KV Dry Fruit were partially gutted in this massive blaze.
The estimated cost of the damage and cause of fire could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection.
