JAMMU, Dec 12: Former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today conducted extensive tour of Narwal Panchayat in Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment as part of public outreach programme.
During his visit to the area the former MLC inspected various ongoing developmental projects particularly sewage project in the area and instructed the executing agencies to maintain the quality of the work by maintaining parameters prescribed under norms.
While interacting with the people during his visit to the area Randhawa said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden sections of the society and various welfare schemes have been launched by the Government. He urged upon the people to come forward and avail the benefits of these schemes.
“To ascertain the factual developmental scenario on ground I am personally visiting each nook and corner of this constituency”, Randhawa added. He said that the slogan given by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’ would be implemented in letter and spirit and it is only possible by visiting all area irrespective of vote bank politics.
He also assured people that all their demands would be fulfilled in phased manner as development is the core mantra of the BJP. He said that the hearts of the people cannot be won through hollow promises.
The prominent of the area expressed their gratitude to the former MLC for showing extra exemplary concern in carrying developmental works in their area.
