JAMMU, Dec 10: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Anu Bali here today started blacktopping work in Ward 24 (Rehari Colony) of main road which was the long pending demand of the locals there.
The work will be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 54 lakh and will be executed by PWD.
Later on Councillor Bali visited her Ward and its surrounding localities where the locals raised various demands like construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, road blacktopping etc.
She assured them that all the genuine demands will be redressed in a time-bound manner.
Bali further said that development work was going on in the Ward at a fast pace while blacktopping and renovation of road is also in progress.
