KATHUA, Dec 10: Police in Kathua have traced out three persons who were missing since July 24 last year, November 2, 2019 and August 29 this year and reunited them with family members.
Police said a missing report was lodged at Police Station (PS), Kathua by the one of the family member of person stating therein Ramesh Singh, son of Punjab Singh of Bagial tehsil and district Kathua is missing. Accordingly a report was lodged at PS Kathua and search was started to trace him. Acting instantly on the missing report he was traced out yesterday.
While in another instance, a missing report was lodged at PS Kathua in respect of Tanu Sumbaria, wife of Aslam of Faizabad Uttar Pradesh and the lady was traced out today.
Meanwhile in another instance one more missing report was lodged at PS Kathua about Nisha Devi wife of Prem Chand of Barnoti tehsil and district Kathua. The police after search traced out the lady yesterday. Later all the traced persons were handed over to their legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
The search operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal.
