Speed up feeding of leftover legacy data: SSP

Srinagar, Nov 23: In order to review the status of the CCTNS project in district Pulwama, SSP Pulwama Ghulam Jeelani Wani chaired a meeting with all CCTNS operators and Incharge CCTNS/CRB at DPO Pulwama.
Besides, DySP Hqrs Pulwama, SDPO Litter, DySP PC Pulwama and all SHOs of the district attended the meeting.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP Pulwama said that the CCTNS is a platform that will help in the prevention of crime and helps in the investigation of criminal cases in the desired manner and at a faster pace, besides emphasised upon all CCTNS operators to adhere to the guidelines and instructions passed from time to time in letter and spirit.
He also directed the participants to make full use of various online portals i.e, (ICJS, ITSSO, CRIMAC, Cyber Crime-NCRP) etc, moreover, he emphasized upon the participants to check complaint/citizen service requests through online CAS CCTNS Software on daily basis and take immediate action accordingly.
He further directed to login Cyber Crime Reporting Portal on daily basis and dispose of all cyber complaints as per directions/instructions of Cyber Crime, besides impressed upon the CCTNS operators to speed up the process of feeding of leftover legacy data.
SSP Pulwama further urged upon the participants that the details concerning the process of investigation should also be uploaded immediately so that a transparent e-policing can be provided to the general public as envisaged under the CCTNS project.
