JAMMU, Nov 21: First Aid Training was imparted to inmates of Girls Hostel, Pouni Chak of Sewa Bharti Jammu and Kashmir by Dr Rajinder Thappa, Senior Consultant, First Aid Trainer Jammu and Kashmir today under the supervision of Dwarka Nath Sharma . Topics discussed were types of bandages, simple pressure bandages, triangular bandages, bandages of mandible, chest bandages and what are the conditions where the bandages are not applied were demonstrated.
Different steps of bandages were discussed. First in cases of separated body parts are transported to hospital where orthopedic surgeon are available for surgery and separated body parts are again united by surgery were demonstrated and discussed.
