SRINAGAR, Nov 19: Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather today paid a surprise visit to Trauma Hospital Pattan and Primary Health Centre Delina and took stock of the functioning and health care facilities being provided to the patients.
A spokesperson of the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir said during the visit, the Director took a review of the health facilities provided to patients at both the hospitals.
First, he visited PHC Delina and visited all the sections of the hospital and also reviewed the patient care services. “He also interacted with the staff of the hospital,” the PRO said.
The Director also visited Trauma Hospital Pattan and visited every section of the hospital including wards, causality, emergency, operation theatres and ER wards.
He inspected all the sections and reviewed the patient care services.
On his visit, the locals demanded the post of paediatrician, radiologist and ENT specialist be filled at the earliest. “They also demanded that a laparoscopy be provided to the hospital.”
