RAJOURI, Nov 10: A leopard was spotted near Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University near Rajouri late this evening.
Official sources said that a staff member of the University was on way from Rajouri town to University campus, about 5-6 kms away from the town. When he arrived near the campus, he spotted a full grown leopard sitting on the road side, as soon as the head-lights of the vehicle fell on the wild beast. He stopped there for some time, clicked photograph of the leopard with his mobile phone. The big wild cat then jumped down in the jungle. The authorities have sounded alert in the area.
