‘Frustrate designs of land grabbers’

JAMMU, Nov 10: Government is keen to provide all the basic amenities to people at their doorsteps and for this every possible step is being taken in the UT of J&K.
This was stated by DDC Chairman, Jammu, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi during a visit to Kot area of Bhawal block near here, today.
The DDC Chairman visited the Dhoomi and Barn localities to inspect the land identified for establishment of new type of Primary Health Centres (PHCs). Speaking on the occasion, he said that soon the people in Barn and Dhoomi will have two state of the art PHCs to provide timely healthcare to people living in the vicinities of these areas. He said that the Government is abreast with the fact that the tertiary care hospitals are overcrowded and therefore the helmsmen at all levels are envisaging that basic healthcare facilities are made available at the primary level healthcare centres. He said that the Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi at the Centre has given special directions to the concerned quarters to make primary and secondary healthcare edifice self-sufficient in the UT so that not even a single person has to suffer for the want of such services.
Bharat Bhushan assured the people that very soon these two new health centers will be established for the welfare of people and they will not have to face hardships by visiting GMC or other hospitals for their daily healthcare needs.
Later, DDC Chairman inaugurated an awareness camp under the title, ” Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani” at Kot Bhalwal area of Jammu. The camp was organized to sensitize people to keep a vigil against the land mafia to save Government land from encroachment. He said that saving State land from the professional land grabbers is the duty of each and every resident of the UT of J&K therefore people should remain cautious in this matter and should inform such matters to police and other concerned departments as soon as possible to ensure that no one dents the interests of the UT and the country.
