RAMBAN, Nov 9: A 12 and 6-year-old minor girls succumbed to injuries today, taking the death toll to three in accident involving a makeshift motorcycle-rickshaw.
The victims identified as Salma (12), daughter of Mohammad Israr of Kowbagh Ramban and Gulshan (6), daughter of Salman of Uttar Pradesh, at present Kowbagh District Ramban were injured along with eight others including rickshaw driver.
They succumbed to injuries during treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu.
One of the child identified as 6-year-old Bhirbhan, son of the rickshaw driver Rampaul of Baladah Mansa of Punjab at present Kowbagh Ramban was killed on the spot in the accident yesterday.
Other injured persons were responding to the treatment, when last reports were compiled.
A case already stands registered in this regard at Police Station Ramban and investigation is going on.
