Jamwal starts work of park

JAMMU, Oct 30: Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Committee (PHSC) of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Narinder Singh Jamwal today started development work at a park in Sainik Colony here.
The work will be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 22 lakh including cost of tile work on pathway, repairing the boundary wall and installation of seating facility for visitors.
Speaking on the occasion Jamwal, who is also Councillor of the same Ward, appealed to the people to come forward and support JMC in making the Ward a model one.
He said, several works related to development of the Ward are in pipeline and will be carried out in a phased manner.
The Chairman also said that JMC will continue to strive to transform the Ward but it is ultimately the public participation and active support that can lead towards making it a model one so that others emulate the same.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Umesh Sharma, Ward President; Parmodh Chib, BJP Jammu District Secretary and Media Incharge; Ravi Bakshi, Co-Convener of UT Cooperative Cell; Rameshwar Jamwal, Dilbagh Jasrotia, Manipal Salathia, Asha Salathia, Monica Salaria and Parvinder Verma.
