RAMBAN, Oct 29: Batote Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past 9 years.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Batote led by SHO Inspector Ajeet Singh under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SSP Ramban PD Nitya conducted raid and apprehended an absconder from Kupwara, who was at large from the past 9 years.
The arrested absconder was identified as Manzoor Ahmed, son of Anayat Ullah of Hayama, District Kupwara.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 84/2010 under Section 8/20/29 NDPS Act with Police Station Batote.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
