KISHTWAR, Oct 24: An ambulance driver was found dead in Warwan area here, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Kalwant Singh, son of Munshi Ram, a resident of Semina District Kishtwar. He was driver of ambulance at District Hospital Kishtwar.
He had gone to shift a dead body in Marwah area and was returning back to home, when his vehicle got stuck in Margan Top area due to heavy snowfall and since then was not in contact with the family. It is assumed that he died due to cold.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma told the Excelsior that arrangements are being made to airlift the dead body to Kishtwar.
However, Warwan Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
