JAMMU, July 17: Special Investigation Team (SIT) today presented challan against Shiv Krishan Sharma, Sub Inspector (encounter specialist), his PSO Mohd Ayub, labourers Abdul Rashid, son of Mohammad Iqbal Hargah, Akhter Hussain, son of Showkat Ali Magray, Mohammad Rafi, son of Mohammad Ibrahim, cook Altaf Hussain, son of Nazir Ahmad, Mohammad Yaqoob, son of Fateh Mohammad of Gandoh and Arshad Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman Mir, who were arrested for grenade attack on Police Station Thathri.
The challan was presented in the Court of 3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu under Section 307/120-B/109/201 RPC and ¾ ESA, 7/25/27 Arms Act and 3 PSSA.
After going through charge-sheet presented by SIT, the Court fixed August 3, 2013 for arguments on charge and sent Shiv Krishan Sharma and his PSO to District Jail Amphalla and others to Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal.
