JAMMU : Border Security Force troops today arrested a Pakistani national along the Indo-Pak International Border in Ranbir Singh Pura area of this winter capital.
‘Alert BSF troops of 200 Battalion during wee hours noticed suspicious movement along the forward Border Outpost in RS Pura Sector,’ an official spokesman here said.
He said the suspected person was arrested and was immediately taken into custody.
The Pak national was identified as Fiaz Ahmed, 48, son of Mohammad Saddique, resident of Raipur, Sialkot, Pakistan.
‘During investigation nothing was recovered from his possession while the preliminary questioning is being carried out by the intelligence agencies,’ the spokesman said, adding that during the past 17 days it is the third time when BSF has apprehended a Pakistani national on the International Border.
