Non camp migrants hold rally

JAMMU, July 13: Non Camp Migrants Organization (NCMO) held a rally in front of Press Club Jammu today under the leadership of its president Nana Jee Dembi.
The organization in an appeal to Chief Minister and other Government authorities urged them to take early steps in allotment of quarters to them at Jagti township.
Mr Dembi while addressing the rally said the migrants putting up on rent were facing many hardships in these hard days when the prices have touched sky. He said NCMO is on peaceful protest for last 14 months demanding allotment of quarters to migrants putting up in rented accommodations.
He said the list has already been submitted the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner R K Pandita in this regard who has assured the early allotment of quarters.
The rally was also addressed by Apex Committee member, H N Jattu. He urged the Government to allot the quarters to rented migrants without any delay. He also demanded that the properties of religious places of KPs be demarcated in Valley. Vijay Bakaya, MLC, Swami Kumar Ji, Pinky Bhat, R K Thussu, P N Raina, Ashok Kumar Raina and others addressed the rally.
The NCMO also extended full support to migrants of Jagti who are facing 16 hour power cut.
