SAMBA, July 13: The Vijaypur people have expressed grave concern over the prevailing insanitation in the town due to Safai Karamcharis strike as heaps of garbage are lying scattered every where.
The people have urged the authorities to take immediate steps in removing the heaps of garbage from the town as increasing insanitation will result in spread of epidemic in this Monsoon season.
The garbage has not been removed from the town for over 10 days due to strike of the Safai Karamcharis of Municipal Committee Vijaypur for non disbursement of their wages for last five months.
