KATHUA, July 13: A Sadhu who was reportedly thrashed by some people in Lakhanpur area and was hospitalized late last night breathed his last in District Hospital Kathua this morning.
He has been identified as Prem Giri from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He informed the police that he was thrashed by some people who also snatched his money.
Sadhu was on his way to holy cave of Amarnath. The Kathua police has registered a case under Section 174.
