JAMMU, Sept 28: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) and Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation here today celebrated birth anniversary of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
MSJK leader Sunil Dimple paid floral tributes to Bhagat Singh Ji and asked the younger generation to follow the footsteps of freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev, Ashfaq Ullaha, Chander Shekhar Azad, Mahatma Gandhi and Neta Ji Subhash Chander Bose.
He said that all the youths of J&K should become Bhagat Singh for restoration of statehood to J&K with special status.
Manjiet Anand, Sachin Soi, Rupesh Bhat, Sat Sharma, Anmol, Chaman Pawar, Ajay, Satpal Kohli others also paid tributes to Bhagat Singh Ji.
Meanwhile, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation and Jewel Bazar Traders Association organized a function to celebrate 114th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh Ji.
Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu had organized a free medical camp on this occasion.
Dr Jatinder Kumar, Dr Rozy, Dr Titikshna, Neelam Sharma, Sudhir, Shivam Kher, Tanya Manhas, Shubham Bali, Parshotam, Icchapal Singh and Satpal rendered their services in the medical camp.
Rajesh Gupta, J&K president of VHP was chief guest at the medical camp.
Dr. Taran Singh, president Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation threw light on the life of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
Dr S.P Varma, Padamshri, noted Gandhian also spoke on the occasion.
Office bearers of Jewel Bazar Traders Association including Kamal Gupta, Pawan Kumar, Brij Mehra, Neeraj Gupta, Surinder Jandyal, Kirtan Singh and others also paid tributes to Bhagat Singh Ji.
