JAMMU, Sept 28: A deputation of All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU)today met Union MoS, Ram Dass Athawale and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
The deputation members claimed that even after abrogation of Article 370, reservation is not properly given in J&K to the deprived castes and OBCs.
Deputation member Prof Kali Dass raised the issue of OBC census and expressed resentment over the affidavit submitted by BJP Government in apex court in this regard.
Athawale gave a patient hearing and assured appropriate action in this matter.
Son Lal Dua, Gurmeet Singh, M.R Bangotra, S.D Malhotra and others were also present in the deputation.
